Cookie & Technology Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the MadeByMotion website. Optional analytics are off until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

What these technologies are

  • Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps small values on your device.
  • This site relies mainly on local storage rather than tracking cookies.

Essential (always on)

  • Hosting and security: the hosting platform may set technical values and keep server logs so pages load and abuse can be prevented.
  • Language preference: your Greek/English choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the site opens in the language you picked.
  • Cookie choice: your answer to the cookie banner is stored in your browser's local storage as a consent record, together with the date. This is essential — without it you would be asked on every page.
  • These are needed for the site to work and are not used to profile you.

Optional analytics (off by default)

  • The hosting platform (Lovable) provides first-party analytics, delivered through a script at /~flock.js which reports to /~api/analytics. It measures basic, aggregated visits and page views.
  • This is treated as optional. It stays blocked unless you press “Accept analytics”.
  • While consent is not given, the site actively blocks that analytics script and its network requests from the browser. Because the script is injected by the hosting platform rather than by this project's code, blocking is applied on a best-effort basis and cannot be guaranteed in every browser or configuration.
  • If you accept and later change your mind, choose “Reject optional” in Cookie settings; the page reloads so the script is not active for the rest of your visit.

What is not used

  • No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or similar tools.
  • No advertising, retargeting or marketing cookies.
  • No third-party embeds or iframes, and no external font requests — fonts load from your own device, so your IP address is not sent to a font provider.

Contact form

  • The contact form is delivered through Web3Forms. A request is sent to that service only at the moment you press the send button.
  • How the form data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Managing your choice

  • Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics at any time.
  • You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings; this clears your stored language and cookie choice, so you will be asked again.

Changes

  • This policy is updated if the tools or services used by the website change. The date at the top shows the current version.
  • Questions: madebymotion@hotmail.com.
