Terms of Use & Service Conditions

These terms cover the use of the MadeByMotion website and set out general conditions for services. MadeByMotion is a freelance web design and marketing practice based in Athens, Greece. These website terms are general information only and are not a substitute for a client contract: every paid project is agreed separately in writing. Contact: madebymotion@hotmail.com.

Using this website

  • The content of this website is provided for general information and to present past and ongoing work.
  • You may view, download and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Please do not republish or redistribute the content of this site without written permission.

Enquiries are not binding offers

  • Descriptions of services, examples of work and any indicative information on this site do not constitute a binding offer.
  • Sending the contact form does not create a contract and does not oblige either side to proceed.
  • I may decline a project that is not a good fit, or that I do not have capacity for.

Each project needs a written agreement

  • Scope of work, deliverables, timeline, price, payment terms, revisions, how change requests are handled and when intellectual property in the delivered work transfers are all set out in a written project agreement or written quote before work begins.
  • Where these website terms and a signed project agreement differ, the project agreement prevails for that project.
  • Third-party costs — for example domains, hosting, plugins, stock assets and advertising spend — are separate from my fee and are only payable when agreed in writing.

Content you supply

  • You confirm that you own, or have the necessary rights and permissions for, all text, images, logos, videos and other material you provide for use in a project.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you supply, including any claims made about your own business.
  • If material you supply infringes someone else's rights, I may have to pause or remove it.

Results, platforms and no performance guarantee

  • No guarantee is given about leads, enquiries, bookings, sales, revenue, search engine rankings or advertising performance. These depend on many factors outside my control, including your market, pricing, offer and competition.
  • Advertising work is limited to what is agreed in writing — typically basic Meta Ads setup, lead forms and basic measurement.
  • Meta and other advertising or hosting platforms can change their rules, pricing, features or algorithms, and can reject, restrict or remove ads or accounts. I am not responsible for those platform decisions.

Availability and third-party services

  • This website is provided as it is and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons connected with the hosting provider.
  • External links are provided for convenience. I am not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

Liability

  • I take reasonable care with the information published here and with the work I deliver.
  • Liability is not excluded or limited for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or in any other case where the law does not allow exclusion or limitation.
  • Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, arising from use of this website.
  • Your mandatory rights as a consumer under Greek and EU law are not affected by anything in these terms.

Who can contract

  • To agree a paid project you must be legally able to enter into a contract. Where you are acting for a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
  • Where the law requires the involvement of a parent, guardian or other legal representative, that person must be involved before work is agreed.

Intellectual property on this site

  • Original text, layouts and designs created by MadeByMotion for this website are protected by copyright and remain mine unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Third-party business names, logos, trademarks, screenshots and other materials shown in the portfolio remain the property of their respective owners, and their use for portfolio purposes requires the owner's permission.
  • If you own material shown here and want it changed or removed, email madebymotion@hotmail.com and I will act promptly.

Governing law and changes

  • Greek law applies to these terms, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence in the EU continue to apply where relevant.
  • These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the current version; continued use of the site means you accept the version published at the time.
